Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both as a captain and a participant of 2012's Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman won three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze medal on the balance beam. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to achieve the most medals at the Olympics. The gold medal she won at the Olympics in 2016 was her second consecutive gold medal for the United States team. This made her, along with teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to accomplish this achievement. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals in both the all-around individual and floor exercise. Three years had passed since she last competed in gymnastics competitions. In addition she was a part of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics squads. She began her gymnastics training when she was just two years old and is a fan of the floor workout. Aly is a supporter of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. In the future, she hopes to build a career from fashion. It is also her dream to extend her leotards line as well as her socks. She is writing a book titled Fierce to be published later this year.
